Stitch and Boots on Etsy

Red Chinese surprise 2.jpg
My sister may be all adorable and shit (and she is!) but there's no way she can ever out-Zoolander me!  However, her waist is so pretty and she's such a good sport and just to make you super sick: she's also got two masters degrees.  My sister is gold.

After many hours of setting everything up and editing a thousand photos just to use a treasured few I can proudly say I've launched my new Etsy shop:

Stitch and Boots Etsy Shop

I have five aprons listed right now with at least one more to list tomorrow and in addition to that I have Christmas wish boxes and stockings, , a couple of pot holders, and two men's aprons to list in the next couple of days.  Soon I will have more pot holders and some mushroom applique kits from my men's shirt recycling project.

So please stop by to have a look.  I know that most of you are as broke as me so don't worry about shopping- just come and look so I appear to be really popular!  You know, go ahead and "heart" me and all.  I'm totally in a drag queen mood (listening to Celia Cruz again, but you don't even know about the first time because I haven't posted that post yet...) so I'm feeling pretty campy and I promise you that I'm blowing you bubble gum kisses across the universe to you and yours in hot pink and mint breath.

Smackaroo!

Dudes, seriously, I love you and the support you give me.  Thank you.

What a funny coincidence - setting up an Etsy shop is how I spent my weekend too! I already have my eye on one of your aprons...

Allison- I just tried to heart your etsy shop and I'm not sure I was successful. I will check again tomorrow! Your prints are ridiculously gorgeous!

I immediately went to see your shop, and Whoo hoo, I was the first to give you a "heart"! I look forward to seeing the things you make, and hope that you will find it a useful addition to the household economy. I am "theArtisanry" on Etsy

The thing I like about Etsy is that it is not very expensive to get set up, and that the "user interface" is pretty straightforward. I have only sold a few things there, but then I haven't put in tons of time and effort on my store there, it is more an addition to the household economy for me than a primary helper, but the simplicity makes it worth it.

I appreciate your comments on my first Dark Days Challenge post - some of the blogs that I read make it all sound so easy, one of the many things I love about your two blogs is that they are so true and heartfelt, and that you write about the struggles as well as the light.

Thank you for all your comments, but the time for comments is now over. Comments have been turned off on the entire site.
